Drury
Name: Drury from Whalley, Lancashire.
Project/Style/Type: Georgian with glass roof and dwarf walls.
Ground Works Preparation: Complete ground works required. The main objective was to create a conventional Edwardian design whilst anticipating the obsticle created by the adjacent dining room slate roof. To overcome this we had to fabricate an elevated aluminium box gutter and secure it around the fascia.
Personal Specification: Our aim was to achieve a room that could be appreciated in all four seasons, the customer opted for our highest spec of pro-active glass in the roof which will reflect up to 75% of the heat from the sun as well as reducing the glare by as much as 50%. Incorporating Low-E Glass to retain 50% more heat than pollycarbonate and standard glass during the cooler months therefore reducing heating bills. The performance glass roof will also reduce noice levels by as much as 100% as compared to polycarbonate.
The project was completed to a very high standard and included plastering, tyling, electrics, and heating.
