Name: Dale from Colne, Lancashire
Project/Style/Type: Wood grain on white Edwardian
Ground Works Preparation: Initially the garden didn’t appear capable of accepting a conservatory. The design allowed for us to incorporate an Edwardian through a large excavation project requiring a retaining wall.
Valley accommodated us with their architectural drawings and they took care of the planning application. We required the conservatory to key into the appearance of our home, but still wanted a bright room. This was achieved by using a rosewood finish outside with a white internal allowing us to win on both sides.
Internal Specification: To optimize usable wall space we opted for under floor heating with a tiled finish.
All walls were plastered
Electrics included sockets a ceiling light with fan and a T.V point.
Skirting boards and window cills were fitted to finish
